After the ploughing-time in summer,
autumn and winter are the seasons of grains and legumes seeding from
which we can obtain bread, pasta and a great variety of wholesome and
nourishing foods giving us an explosion of aromas arising from soups or
fresh salads, exalted by a fragrant oil.
In such sunny country like Sicily, legumes are particularly exploited,
but only in lands that can enrich them in nutritive elements and taste.
These are the areas that we privilege to select the lentils, the beans
and the broad beans… these are also the areas where the producers,
loving the land in which they live and work, use ancient gestures and
modern technology to produce top grade seeds.
